IRISH DRIFT CHAMPIONSHIP JAPFEST - MONDELLO PARK
Irish Drift Championship - Japfest Modified Car Show will include the final round of the 2015 Irish Drift Championship and a celebration of eleven years of Irish Drifting.
The date for the event will be Sunday September 27th with IDC qualifying and Semi-Pro competition on Saturday 26th.
The final round of the season needs no introduction. In 2014, there was over 10,000 car enthuisiasts descend on the Kildare venue to watch the best drivers in the world do battle for the final podium of the year. Expect some guest appearances, high speed action and plenty of thrills and spills before the season comes to a close.
The change of date has been arranged to ensure that JapFest does not clash with any other International events in order to give the IDC the chance to once again invite the world's top drivers to Ireland to see if they can end the Iirish Driver's ten year undefeated streak.
The centrepiece of the Jap-Fest Track Action will be the finale of the 2015 IDC featuring a Star Studded entry list of Irish and International Drivers. The IDC Drift Champiosnhip will take place over two days with the Rookie and Semi-Pro drivers competing on Saturday and the Pro Drivers competing on Sunday.
Also on track will be the final round of the 2015 Irish Time-Attack Championship and high speed track Day sessions which are open to clubs and individuals.
